'Sims 4: Dine Out' DLC release date: New expansion pack out this week; kid-themed DLC to follow

Rumors about a restaurant-themed DLC for "Sims 4" have turned out to be true and this new expansion pack is scheduled to arrive this week.
Players will get to experience the new "Dine Out" DLC on June 7, Tuesday. "Dine Out" expansion allows players to make their Sims visit a restaurant, and more interestingly, run one. They can experiment with flavors and take pictures of gastronomic creations and use them as a home décor.
In managing a Sim's restaurant, players can hire and even train other Sims, just like how things run in real life. As detailed in Sims VIP, the game's community blog, players can build and design their own restaurant from scratch. They can customize the signs and put up décor that fits the color theme of the food house.
Players can also set the attire that Sim guests will need to wear when visiting the restaurant. Even restaurant employees can also wear work uniforms and it's not just traditional restaurant clothing. There will be different options to make the work environment and the restaurant look fun.
As for the food, Si, restaurant owners can customize them to make the story unique. There are already preset menus available but players can tweak this a bit. Choose from various dishes starting with the appetizer and all the way through desserts. The blog described the menu images to be "vibrant" and it might be hard to pick which ones would go to your list.
It was also revealed that even though restaurant owners are not inside the building, restaurant operations will go on for continued profits. After the "Dine Out" DLC, another expansion will arrive. SimGuru Graham Nardone tweeted that this expansion will be kids-themed.
While PC players are enjoying new content from "The Sims 4," console players are still patiently waiting for the release of the game in other gaming platforms. So far, Electronic Arts still hasn't announced when the game will arrive at consoles.
