'Silicon Valley' season 3 spoilers, plot news: Gavin faces a major change in his life; Jared's new Pied Piper jacket divides two of the guys
HBO's popular comedy series "Silicon Valley" is only a few weeks away from its season 3 finale, and the upcoming episode will see the Pied Piper team as they try to release a beta for their project.
To recap, the guys attempted to release a beta version of Pied Piper, but they were faced with an unexpected outcome. Each one of them can only have limited beta invites and while Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani) was worried about his lack of social life, Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) tried to see if he was lying. Monica (Amanda Crew) also dealt with the problem of delivering a criticism. Erlich (T.J. Miller) had to make a huge decision because of his financial issues and the Nucleus team tried to do the impossible after being challenged by Gavin (Matt Ross).
For this coming Sunday's episode titled "Bachman's Earning's Over-Ride," the official synopsis reads:
Erlich struggles to come clean to Richard, who is forced to make a choice between their friendship and the company's future. Jared's new Pied Piper apparel makes a splash, and divides Dinesh and Gilfoyle. As Gavin faces major life changes, the guys celebrate a rare victory.
As seen in the promo clip, Jared entered the room asking if it was chilly, only to show the guys his new Pied Piper clothing. None of them seemed to be a fan of his new yellow-and-green attire, with Gilfoyle even saying, "If my mother was naked and dead in the street, I would not cover her with that jacket."
Due to the comedy series' success, the network has greenlighted a fourth season slated to premiere next year.
