There are many fans that are waiting for the release of "Sid Meier's Civilization VI" this year. The game's scheduled release will be on Oct. 21; however, many fans are still hoping that game developer Firaxis Games will provide more solid details about the upcoming title. According to reports, a certain fan has sent a letter to Ed Beach, "Civilization 6" lead designer, requesting for more significant changes in the game.

The fans reportedly asked Beach in an open letter if they could extend the Era speed and to include the previous eras to the upcoming game.

The fan who goes by the name HadrianLP on Twitter posted the letter on the social media site.

"An open letter to @EdBeach23, lead designer on #CivilizationVI. #OneMoreTurn," the fan wrote.

HadrianLP said that players should be allowed to modify the speed of the game's science, city, and culture production. The fan added that players of the game must be given more control to enjoy the title even more.

Nonetheless, not all the fans agree with HadrianLP. According to some players, HadrianLP's request is not possible at all.

The game designer has yet to respond to the letter. Firaxis Game has also continued to stay mum about the issue.

Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting that a new exciting feature will be added to the game. According to the report, there will be an Envoy system, which will allow players to compete for influence over other players. It will be interesting how this will play out once the game hits the market.
