'Shadowhunters' season 2 episode 4 spoilers: Shadowhunters fight against powerful demon; Alec and Magnus to have their first date

The Institute comes under attack on the upcoming episode of Freeform's supernatural drama "Shadowhunters" season 2.
Titled "Day of Wrath," next week's episode will see the Shadowhunters go up against a new kind of threat. According to the official synopsis, Clary (Katherine McNamara) will struggle with the new Shadowhunter order, while Jace (Dominic Sherwood) is still being held captive in The City of Bones as his fate remains unclear. Also, all suspicion in the Shadowhunter world is centered on Valentine's (Alan Van Sprang) daughter.
Later in the episode, Clary gets a little rest from all the drama at home as she helps Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) and Alec (Matthew Daddario) track down a powerful demon. What begins as a simple routine mission immediately places the Institue on high alert, and what comes next will have a huge effect on the Shadowhunters and the rest of the Downworlders. Elsewhere, Jocelyn (Maxim Roy) offers a proposition for her daughter as Simon (Alberto Rosende) and Raphael (David Castro) team up to hunt down Camille (Kaitlyn Leeb).
According to reports, episode 4 will also feature a romantic "Malec" moment. Alec and Magnus (Harry Shum Jr.) finally have some time to have their first date, and it will certainly be a special one. "Jace may have been the one who pulled me out, but I did feel you there," Alec tells Magnus in the latest promo clip. "It did make a difference, so... thank you."
Magnus tries to keep his cool but it seems that he is not so good with hiding his true feelings. "Thank you for not dying on me," Magnus responds. The two characters' awkward and adorable moment is then followed by an unfortunate surprise at the end of the teaser.
The second season of "Shadowhunters" airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
