There is a lot of things that viewers should look forward to in the upcoming second season of "Sense8." The mystery drama thriller has been a huge success since it was released as a Netflix original series last year. For the continuation of the story of the so-called "sensates," the team will face the challenge of two Season 1 leads leaving the show. However, the viewers can still expect a darker and bolder theme for Season 2.

"Sense8" saw the exit of the former cast members, Aml Ameen and Lilly Wachowski even before the initial production stages of Season 2 began. Still, the team remains positive that the second season can still be made bigger than the first. In fact, Buzz Feed News reported that the upcoming season will bring things to the next level. Max Riemelt, who plays the character of the German outlaw Wolfgang, revealed in an interview with Buzz Feed that the action and drama in Season 2 will be a notch higher than the first. Specifically, Riemelt revealed that the viewers can expect to see "more sex and more violence" as the sensates return for new adventures.

As the first season introduced the concept of sensates and explained how each of them are specially interconnected, the upcoming season will focus on the psychic intimacies resulting from their special bond. In the case of Season 2, the main characters must remain strongly bonded together as they are expected to face the villain Whispers (Terrence Mann) once again.

The story of "Sense8" revolves around the lives of eight individuals who suddenly found themselves deeply connected to each because of an unexplained phenomenon. This is called a sensate where people coming from different distant places become emotionally and mentally linked.

According to a Crossmap report, the apparent story for season 2 includes the love triangle of Rahan (played by Purab Kohli), Kala (played by Tina Desai) and Wolfgang. Rajan is expected to take up a more villainous role next season.
