'Sense8' season 2 spoilers news: Sun Bak to get her revenge? Wolfgang sets Kala free?

Production for "Sense8" season 2 is currently ongoing, with the Netflix sci-fi drama being filmed simultaneously in various parts of the world. Co-creator J. Michael Straczynski has dished on what fans could expect from the upcoming season, but it looks like he did not prepare fans for this latest bit of information that's been making its rounds around online publications.

In a recent report, it was bared that season 2 would see the Sensates exploring their powers further and making new discoveries about their abilities that could help them fight their enemies, especially the Whispers who remain their biggest threat, better. The report likewise quoted Straczynski as saying that "The second season is about providing a lot of the answers to the questions that viewers had after seeing the first season."

Now, new spoilers for the show seem to hint that Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) who is embroiled in a love triangle with Kala (Tina Desai) and Rajan (Purab Kohli), is making a huge decision concerning his feelings for Kala.

The blog Oh, No, They Didn't recently published teaser photos for "Sense8" season 2, and one photo showed Rajan cuddling Kala in a cozy, blissful shot. Shippers of Wolfgang and Kala's team immediately went into panic since they took the photo to mean that Wolfgang finally let go of Kala.

Wolfgang's decision could be based on the fact that Kala and Rajan's union has been previously arranged, and he can't do anything about it. Moreover, there are speculations that Rajan would unleash his evil side should Kala choose Wolfgang over him.

"Sense8" season 2 would definitely be packed with mystery and intrigue, what with the fate of Wolfgang-Kala-Raja hanging in the balance.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Soompi, Bae Doo Na, who plays Sun Bak in the series, revealed that her character will be on a road to self-discovery in the upcoming season especially since the first season only served to introduce the eight Sensates to the viewers.

"In season two, there will be more of a detailed story," she said. "Sun is thirsting to get her revenge."

"Sense8" season 2 airs in January 2017 on Netflix.
