'Sense8' season 2 spoilers news: Pilot episode airs Christmas 2016, new sneak peak photos revealed

Netflix's sci-fi drama "Sense8" has garnered mostly positive reviews and promising ratings in its freshman run, earning the series a renewal for season 2.The show was initially reported to return to the small screen sometime in June, but the show will premiere in December as confirmed recently by actress Jamie Clayton through her Twitter page.
Clayton plays the role of a transgender woman named Nomi Marks from San Francisco, and she works as a hacker and political blogger. A fan asked her about the show's release, to which she replied: "Ep1 at Christmas. The rest, all at once in 2017." This means that only the pilot episode will be aired on Dec. 25, while all the succeeding episodes will arrive at once next year.
While fans wait for what the Wachowski sisters have in store for them, new sneak peak photos for the making of season 2 are now out. One image features Lito Rodriguez (Miguel Silvestre) having a blast partying with his friends. In another shot, it looks like he might have killed someone. He stands beside a dead man while blood is smeared across his face and hands.
For the uninitiated, "Sense8" follows the lives of eight strangers scattered all over the world. They find out that they are all linked with each other emotionally and mentally, which leads them to each other. In their struggle to have a better understanding of their abilities, a sensate from another group of 8 guides and protects them from yet another sensate who is out to kill them.
As previously reported, Aml Ameen has exited the show due to a suspected on-set rift with . co-creator/director Lana Wachowski. Actor Toby Onwumere now will be playing the role of Capheus for starting next season. The actor and director's conflict allegedly flared up during the "Season 2 table read in Berlin and worsened as filming progressed in India."
