Science fiction "Sense8" made a lot of impact with its first season. Fans who have followed the series since the first episode apparently want more. Despite the many rumors saying the show is getting cancelled, the series is going to continue with its story.

According to IMDB, "Sense8" season 2 will start airing new episodes before the year ends. It's expected to return in December 2016 but since Netflix has not made any official announcements yet, fans will have to take this report with a pinch of salt.

But whether the series will come back this year or not, fans can be assured that season 2 is pushing on because actor Brian J. Smith, who plays as Will Gorski, posted a photo on Twitter with a caption revealing that they have wrapped up filming for the second installment. He even wrote that "it was the adventure of a lifetime."

However, the fans may be missing a fan-favorite character after season 2 as rumor has it that Korean actress Doona Bae will be departing the series.

It's said that she will be going back to her hometown in South Korea to resume her career there. She has been away from the Korean drama industry for six years already so she thinks that it's time to go back.

Nothing is confirmed but if it does turn out to be true, Bae's departure will greatly affect the show as her character Sun Bak is very important to the storyline. Fans will also miss her presence.

But while Bae is said to leave, reports detailed that new actors will be joining the new season. Indian actor Sikandar Kher ("Woodstock Villa") is said to be the new villain while Toby Onwumere will be replacing Aml Ameen as Capheus.

Fans will have to stay tuned. Watch out for more updates on "Sense8" season 2.
