Seattle Seahawks' QB Russell Wilson Gives Glory to God After Win

Famed Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson attributed his team's massive win against the Green Bay Packers Sunday evening to God in a post-game interview.
Wilson managed to lead his team to victory in the National Football Conference championship after being behind the Packers for most of the game. The two teams went into overtime at Seattle's CenturyLink Field and managed to beat the packers 27 to 22.
After their close win, Wilson and other players gathered in the center of the field for a tearful prayer circle that last several minutes. Afterward, Wilson told reporter Erin Andrews that his faith is what led him and his team to win the game.
"The funny thing is I was on the sideline right before we went off that last drive and I told (offensive coordinator Darrell) Bevell, 'be ready for the check', for the play that we just ran through the touchdown. I said 'I'm gonna pull a touchdown and win the game'. And sure enough man. I just believe that God prepared me for these situations. God's prepared our team too as well. Like I said, I'm honored to be on this team. I'm going to the Super Bowl again."
The 26-year-old athlete, who visits a children's hospital in Seattle weekly, attributed his athletic talent to God on Twitter ahead of Sunday's tense game.
"All my hope is in You Jesus! You are my anchor that is never shaken!" Wilson tweeted Sunday morning. Later in the day the star quarterback added on Twitter: "Headed back to the Super Bowl!!!! QBs in the House! Glory to God!One Mission."
