'Scream' season 2 spoilers, plot news: Brooke and the rest of the group deals with loss of loved one; star Willa Fitzgerald teases 'darker' season 2
The latest Brandon James stalker's evil tricks reached new heights when he did a killing spree for the public to see, and the upcoming episode of MTV's "Scream" might see things take a turn for the worst.

To recap, the previous episode "Happy Birthday to Me" featured the stalker managed to rig a banner, dropping the decomposing corpse of Jake right in the middle of a packed auditorium. As if taunting the authorities, the stalker wants everyone in the town to see that he still has the upper hand. The final moments of the episode saw Brooke (Carlson Young) screaming at the top of her lungs after being covered in what appears to be the blood of her boyfriend.
For a preview of what's to come next week, the official synopsis for Monday's episode 5 titled "Dawn of the Dead" reads:
"The death of a loved one hits everyone hard and GW High goes into lockdown; suspicions rise among the Lakewood Five."
As the season progresses, star Willa Fitzgerald hints more chilling episodes are up ahead for the fans. "Season 2 is definitely darker than season 1," she told Hypable. "The characters have matured after the events of last season. They are living with deep pain, mistrust and panic. They're all trying to move on in their own ways, but that will obviously prove to be impossible."
The actress also mentioned gruesome kills for this new chapter, as the murders will be more vicious than it was in the previous season. "I've definitely come to set on my time off just to get to see all of the prosthetics and special effects rigs. This season's killer is going about the murders in a much more vicious way, which definitely means more fun for our makeup and special effects teams," she added.
