'Scream Queens' Season 2 spoilers news: Emma Roberts spills Chanel's new love interest for next season

Emma Roberts as Chanel Oberlin in \"Scream Queens\" | FOX

The second season of "Scream Queens" is expected to premiere this September, and as early as now, the fans of the hit comedy thriller series begin to speculate about Chanel Oberlin's fate in the upcoming new chapter of her life.

The last sequence of the first season shows Chanel, played by Emma Roberts, staying in a mental asylum to serve a life imprisonment sentence. To make matters a little bit complicated until the second season, the mental asylum is revealed to be Dean Munsch's (Jamie Lee Curtis) property. Munsch is known to be the cause of all the characters' misfortunes in the first season, and this revelation just gave away the fact that the hilarious, and most of the time bloody, misadventures of Chanel will continue.

Just recently, Roberts revealed some details about her character, including the things that are coming to her in Season 2. It appears that Chanel's romantic life will continue to blossom with a new love interest on the way. The 25-year-old actress had an interview with Andy Cohen on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" as reported by ET Online, where she revealed that Chanel will be romantically involved with one of the new characters in Season 2. It was reported earlier that actors Taylor Lautner and John Stamos will be included in the cast next season.

"One of them is my love interest," ET quoted Roberts' teasing statement on the show. "I don't know if we always do things appropriately over there. Honestly, I'd be happy with either of them or both of them."

Stamos will play the role of Dr. Brock Holt, the charming head surgeon of the hospital, while Lautner is also going to be a resident doctor in the hospital, Dr. Cassidy Cascade. However, the character of the former "Twilight" star is in for a ride, as he will be a primary suspect in the series of shocking events in the hospital due to his "strange mental condition."

Aside from Curtis and Roberts, Season 1 main cast members like Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash are all poised to reprise their roles for another round of mysterious bloodbath murders.
