'Scream Queens' season 2 air date, spoilers news: Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis tease season 2

FOX recently released another trailer for the second season of the horror-comedy TV show "Scream Queens." The trailer revealed that Jamie Lee Curtis who portrays Dean Cathy Munsch convinced the three Chanels (Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin and Billie Lourd) to enroll in medical school.
The trailer contained various clips from season 2 as well as interviews with the show's cast, telling audiences what to expect from the show.
The upcoming season will move from the sorority house to a hospital. According to Variety, creator Brad Falchuk revealed earlier this year that the new chapter will bear similarities with the popular horror franchise "Halloween," which also featured Curtis.
"I love that it's a little bit darker," Roberts admitted in the trailer. "The hospital setting gives it kind of a more eerie vibe," she added.
Joining the cast next season are Taylor Lautner as Cassidy Cascade, and John Stamos as Brock Holt. Both actors will be portraying sexy doctors. As revealed in the first trailer, the Chanels will get pretty intimate with the hot new additions.
In the trailer, Lautner shared that the second season will be funnier and scarier than its predecessor.
"Glee" alum Lea Michele will also be reprising her role as Hester Ulrich. In the previous trailer, she was wearing a Hannibal mask. However, in a recent interview with TV Guide, Michele teased that her character will not be the killer this season.
"As the murders start to happen, everyone is obviously thinking that it's Hester again," Michele said. "She's quite adamant that she is not the killer this season, but that she will try and help them figure out who the killer is," the actress added.
As previously reported, guest stars will include Colton Haynes, Jerry O'Connell, Cecily Strong and Cheri Oteri. Their roles in the upcoming season have yet to be announced.
"Scream Queens" season 2 will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 9 p.m. EDT on FOX.
