'Scorpion' Season 1 Update And Spoilers: Walter O'Brien's Fictionalized Life

Season 1 of "Scorpion" delves into the life of Walter O'Brien (played by Elyes Gabel). Airing on CBS every Monday at 9/8c, the series is a fictionalized version of O'Brien's life and how he recruits geniuses to help solve problems plaguing the government and other organizations.

Assisting O'Brien and the team at Scorpion is Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee). Dineen is a waitress who thought she had an autistic son. O'Brien eventually helped her discover that he was actually a genius. As a result of this, she helps decipher the real world for the members of Scorpion, while they help her with her son.

The rest of the cast includes television and film veteran Robert Patrick (who plays Agent Cabe Gallo) and Eddie Kaye Thomas (who plays Toby Curtis).

The sixth episode of the season titled "True Colors" witnessed a crossover from "NCIS: Los Angeles" with the appearance of Hetty Lange (played by Linda Hunt). She helped the team discover where a real painting was hidden after Scorpion destroyed the fake one.

Also in this episode, Walter and Paige got to spend time dancing. CarterMatt notes that the episode finally saw Paige's emergence as a pivotal member of the group as she helped Walter with his social skills.

"True Colors" also saw Walter manipulating a recording device in order to spend extra time on the dance floor with Paige. Will they end up becoming a couple? We'll find out.

In the upcoming episode titled "Father's Day," Scorpion members will find themselves handling the fallout when three criminals escaped from prison. The synopsis also states that one of the escapees is a brilliant hacker who was forced to steal billions via the internet.

Additionally, Paige is going to have more problems on her hands when her son's father comes back. She is also going to have to deal with what Ralf expects of his father.
