According to ScreenerTV, "Scandal" season 6 was pushed to a fall premiere to give Washington time to heal and spend time with her second baby. The season was also downsized from 22 episodes to 16, where fans can expect more intense scenes cramped up into a short span of episodes.
"Scandal" season 6 will debut on Jan. 19 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
