'Scandal' Season 4 Spoilers, News: What Will Happen To Jake?

Viewers have already seen four episodes in Season 4 of "Scandal." The last one titled "Like Father, Like Daughter" saw the president's daughter embroiled in a "scandal."

Olivia Pope, played by Kerry Washington, has to scramble to contain a sex tape that President Grant's daughter Karen made. After dealing with Karen, President Grant has to deal with his wife Mellie. He scores a point when he says, "I have dealt with Smellie Mellie, crybaby Mellie, and I have not complained."

But Mellie gets back at him by saying that Karen making a sex tape only means that she is taking after her father.

We then saw Olivia handling the situation and paying off Karen's partners in the sex tape to buy their silence. The viewers then witnessed Jake managing to escape an explosion from a bomb that was planted in his car.

However, after Rowan Pope gets Tom, one of the secret service agents, to falsely testify that Jake was also involved in the death of Jerry Grant, Jake gets arrested.

In "Scandal" Season 4, more focus is being given on other characters in the show as the lead actor, Kerry Washington, was pregnant during its filming. As a result, viewers will get to see more of Abby Whelan, played by Darby Stanchfield.

In Entertainment Weekly's list of "Scandal" Season 4 spoilers, first is the fact that Harrison Wright is really dead and is not coming back. He was last seen in the third season being held at gunpoint after he finds out that Rowan Pope, Olivia's father, was responsible for Jerry Grant's death. President Grant, meanwhile, is going to try to do better in his second term. This will create problems between him and the Republican party, including their lawyer, played by Portia de Rossi.

As for the first lady, Mellie will go through a transformation after the death of her son. Her romance with Vice President Andrew Nichols might be put on the backburner.
