An early renewal means that the show is doing something that's just right for its viewers. With that in mind, it's a mystery why NBC cancelled "Saving Hope" before, after having only aired one season's load of episodes.

After American audiences were suddenly deprived of the medical drama, good news finally arrives: "Saving Hope" will return to U.S. TV screens after Cable channel ION acquired the rights to air the first two seasons of the show, as well as the third one. Once it's already airing in Canada. Season 3 of "Saving Hope" will have 18 episodes.

However, while the airing of Seasons 1 to 3 has already been put under lock and key for US audiences, it still remains open-ended as to whether or not rights to Season 4, which is still in the pre-production stage, will also be acquired for airing in America.

Season 4 of "Saving Hope" will begin production in the summer of 2015. That means there's enough time to gauge how U.S. audience will receive a show.

Meanwhile, there's a remote concern in Canada. CTV has stated that "Saving Hope" has been averaging 1.5 million viewers in Canada during its current season.

"Saving Hope" has the following stars, who are all known to numerous American TV viewers, acting out decisive roles in the series: Erica Durance of "Smallville," Michael Shanks of "Stargate SG-1" and Daniel Gillies of "The Originals."
