Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 specs, release date & update: Tablet FCC-approved and ready for release in early 2017?

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has been the subject of release rumors several times this year. But now that 2016 is almost over and details about the up-and-coming Android tablet remain scarce, the S3 may be looking at an early 2017 release instead.
Release rumors about the S3 were further fueled by reports that it has now passed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) test and is all geared up for an official public launch.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was released over a year ago and consumers are ready to upgrade to the next generation ultra high-end tablet model in the series, especially since according to the spec rumors currently making the rounds, the device may come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 4,000mAh battery for the smaller variant and a 5,870mAh battery for larger one.
If this turns out to be true, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be streaming smoother videos with exceptional graphics and crystal-clear audio, while also providing breathtakingly fast download speeds and an extended battery life. It will also reportedly come with fast-charging capabilities.
The S3 can also snap hi-definition images with an 8-MP rear camera and a 2-MP front-facing camera, which is said to be the highest numbers that an Android tablet could have. Its ports may be Micro-USB ready instead of USB-C. The preferred operating system for the S3 may still be Android Marshmallow, although there is also a possibility that it may be updated to the newer Android 7.0 Nougat, which will be released ahead of the much anticipated tablet.
According to Sammobile, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 may be released with the model numbers SM-T820 (Wi-Fi) and SM-T825 (LTE), which could be referring to Wi-fi and LTE variants for the larger 9.7-inch model. The appearance seems to resemble that of the S2, based on some rendered images leaked by tech tipster Evan Bass on Twitter.
These are all just speculations at this point and Samsung has yet to release confirmed details about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, which is allegedly scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2017.
