Many tech enthusiasts are wondering if 2016 will also be the year of the next iteration of Samsung's Galaxy Tab series. There are people expecting that the South Korean tech giant would be creating the Galaxy Tab S2's successor, with a target release date possibly sometime in Fall. There is a likelihood that Samsung would only release another upgraded version of the Galaxy Tab S2 this year instead of a whole new model, but if the latest rumors are anything to go by, the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S3 in the months to come is not off the table.

According to the latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be unveiled this September. This would mark the first anniversary of the Galaxy Tab S2's release. This can be a real possibility since Samsung seems to set the schedule of the new Galaxy Tab model's release every September, although it is also likely that the next Galaxy Tab iteration will be released sooner than that. By the time of its release, it is expected to come in two variants with both models sporting the latest Android N operating system.

A known tech spectator, Evan Blass, recently posted a supposed leak of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 model on his Twitter account, sparking the rumors that the gadget is well on its way to be released, Yibada reported. However, some people have noticed some inconsistencies regarding the claims that the Samsung device in the leaked photo is in fact the latest Galaxy Tab. Another factor that makes people think the leaked device is not the Galaxy Tab S3 is the recent unveiling of the rehashed version of the 2015 Galaxy Tab S2.

Nevertheless, the latest rumors point to a Sept. 1 release of the Galaxy Tab S3, coming from the Russian journalist Eldar Murtazin. GSM Arena reported that the next Galaxy Tab model will be revealed sometime in early September, although the online publication also said that the initial report must still be taken with a pinch of salt.
