Samsung Galaxy S8 release date, specs rumors: Dual rear cameras the future of smartphone photography

Samsung has yet to reveal the details of the upcoming Galaxy S8 but the company is expected to introduce the forthcoming smartphone soon. Various rumors have spread about the next flagship mobile device and it will reportedly rival the camera features of the iPhone 7.
Samsung is anticipated to up its game in terms of the smartphone's camera as the rest of the tech companies are gearing towards dual camera setups for smartphone photography.
Sam Mobile suggested that the Galaxy S8 will feature dual cameras at the rear of the smartphone. The news outlet pointed out that Apple is anticipated to include the same feature in the iPhone 7. Moreover, the S8 will have a 12-megapixel sensor for its primary camera but it will have a 13-megapixel secondary sensor. The latter will provide users with a wider range of control for the depth of field.
On the other hand, the front camera will be upgraded from the slightly behind 5-megapixel sensor to an 8-megapixel sensor.
Reports have also suggested that Samsung has filed a patent for a new home button which will reportedly have a fingerprint sensor.
The new phone will have the Exynos 8895 and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 processors. These will run at 4GHz and 3GHz. If Samsung's new smartphone will include these features, it will be faster than Apple's A10 processor which runs at only 2.6GHz.
Samsung usually releases new units for the S series in February or March. If the company follows its tradition, then the smartphone might be released sometime between Feb. 27 and Mar. 2, 2017.
Furthermore, the company is expected to release five smartphones next year as well as a brand new line which has been called "Galaxy X." These phones will reportedly come with a foldable display.
