According to a report by Sam Mobile, Samsung will be launching five smartphones in the first few months of 2017 including the highly anticipated Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge. Rumor has it that both smartphones will have Super AMOLED display feature that is said to support 2.5K resolution and carry the RGB subpixel arrangement.

The rumored next generation of Samsung's flagship smartphone, Galaxy S8, is said to boast a 5.2-inch screen. Mobi Picker reported that the company might go for a bigger screen for the upcoming smartphone. The publication said that Samsung does not want to mirror the design of its previous Galaxy S models.

It has also been reported that the device will run on Exynos 900 processor and Snapdragon 830 from Qualcomm. It is also said that the smartphone will have a sleeker and slimmer design with a metallic looking arch frame.

Fans are also expecting the new handset to have 5G connectivity, which will be one of the factors for consumers to get this device once it hits the market. There are also speculations suggesting that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 will carry either a 16 MP or 18 MP main snapper with larger aperture, brighter LED and faster focus.

There are also reports saying that the upcoming Galaxy S iteration will have a speedy fingerprint sensor, which also means that the home button will no longer be present on the device.

As of the moment, Samsung has yet to verify all rumors and speculations. It is better to wait for the company to make an official announcement before making any assumptions.
