Samsung Galaxy S7 Active release date and specs rumors: AT&T exclusive smartphone to come out on June 10?

The specs and features of the device have already been a hot topic online; however, Samsung has continued to stay mum regarding the subject. New reports have emerged suggesting that the highly anticipated device could come out under the wing of the American giant carrier AT&T.
TechTimes reported that Samsung and AT&T are going to collaborate again for the newest addition to the company's flagship smartphone. Both companies have been known to have collaborated in the past models of the Galaxy S line such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active in 2013, the Galaxy S5 Active and the Galaxy S6 Active. Despite the numerous leaks with regard to the development and release date of the Galaxy S7 Active, Samsung has remained silence about the reports.
Meanwhile, there have been reports saying that Samsung could launch the handset on June 10; however, ahead of its rumored release date, the specs and features of the Galaxy S7 Active have already hit online. Venture Beat reported that the new version of the Galaxy S7 may have a different body design. However, the publication added that it is quite similar to the Galaxy S7 base model. It has the same 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It will have the same impressive specifications under the hood headed by the Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm, which is paired with 4 GB of RAM. It will get a 32 GB on-board storage capacity, which can be expanded using microSD. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active will run on a pre-installed Android Marshmallow.
