Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date And Specs Rumors Surface, Excites Android Fans

Rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S6 have already started swirling even though the phone will only be released sometime in the first quarter of next year.
Anticipation around the phone has grown after Samsung released the Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy Note 4 to good reviews. Several reviewers also noticed how the Galaxy Note featured premium design elements such as a new full aluminum frame which the Samsung Galaxy S5 did not have. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 also was praised for its excellent QHD display, standout specs and hardware.
With the rumors around the Samsung Galaxy S6 has come more information about the specs and design that will be featured in the phone. Rumors state that Samsung has started designing the phone from scratch and that it will be known initially as "Project Zero."
As for the size of its display, it could measure around 5.2 inches and feature Quad HD. It could also have a curved edge much like the Galaxy Note 4 and could have a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The rumors also note that the rear camera will be upgraded to 20 megapixels while the camera in the front will be at 5 megapixels.
Storage space in the Samsung Galaxy S6 is also rumored to be going up, with the phone likely to be released with 64GB and 128 GB on board storage.
With the Android 5.0 Lollipop already released, it is almost certain that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will feature this new OS. By next year it is likely that most current bugs and problems in it will be ironed out.
Reviewers have also noted that Samsung might opt to use multiple chipsets on the phone. While some sectors could see the Samsung Galaxy S6 come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, others could see the use of the Exynos 7420. As these chipsets would be 64 bit processors they could work well with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
