The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be launched later this year, and patrons of the brand are expecting that the upcoming device will be upgraded with a dual-screen display and an advanced S-Pen.

Trusted Reviews has confirmed that Samsung has already promised, in a previous statement, that their Galaxy Note 8, along with the Galaxy S8, will be released sometime this year.

With the recent issue that plagued the Galaxy Note 7, fans of Samsung are expecting that the new Galaxy Note device that will soon be introduced into the market will not have the same exploding problems.

Now that the Galaxy Note 8 is already on the horizon, iTechPost reported a few features that the upcoming smart device is expected to be equipped with.

The Galaxy Note 8 will reportedly have a dual-screen display, which means the device will have displays located on both the front and back. Aside from this, it is also anticipated that the Galaxy Note 8 will be foldable, allowing convenience in storage and other possibilities in enhancing customer experience.

Galaxy Note 8 is anticipated to have 6GB RAM and about 128GB expandable storage of memory.

It was recently reported that Samsung submitted a patent that enhances the S-Pen to become a speaker. The patent described the S-Pen to have two possible sources of sound, which will be used depending on how the S-Pen is being used or stored. The S-Pen is still expected to weigh 3g and have a length of 200mm, similar to with the one in Galaxy Note 7, only that it has a built-in speaker.

Although the patent only focused on building a speaker onto the S-Pen, it also allows for Samsung to make the Galaxy Note 8 to be completely waterproof if it chooses to take away the speakers from the actual device.

There are also speculations that Samsung is sourcing batteries from LG to prevent repeating the combustion issues that arrived with the Galaxy Note 7.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be launched in August 2017.
