Samsung Galaxy Note 8 release date, specs and price rumors: new Galaxy Note to come out in Q1 2017?

The development of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could still be underway despite the exploding battery fiasco of its predecessor, based on the latest reports.
Speculations claim that the tech giant from South Korea will try to compensate for the failure of the Galaxy Note 7 by releasing high-end features for the Galaxy Note 8.
According to reports, the next-generation Samsung Galaxy Note will come out with a huge 5.7-inch screen display with 4K resolution. It is also expected to be equipped with as much as 6 GB of random-access memory (RAM) together with a massive 128 GB of internal storage.
There are also reports claiming that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor. Yet, other speculations suggest that the device could be equipped with Samsung's own Exynos 8895 chipset. The rumored smartphone is also expected to come with several camera improvements by featuring a dual primary camera with 16 megapixels (MP) while the secondary camera will have 8 MP.
The rumored flagship device from Samsung is also expected to have the fan-favorite features of the Galaxy Note line, including the fingerprint scanner, the signature iris scanner, and the heart-rate monitor. It may also come out with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system (OS) straight out of the box upon release.
Since Samsung was rocked by the debilitating exploding battery controversy involving the Galaxy Note 7, the company is expected to come up with better and more secure battery for the new device. The smartphone manufacturer is also expected to veer away from using aggressive battery design to prevent the same explosive accidents brought about by the previous Galaxy Note model.
At the moment, representatives from Samsung have yet to reveal more information about their plans for the Galaxy Note 8. But the device is expected to be unveiled either at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2017 in January or during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona in late February.
