Samsung Galaxy Note 7 release date, specs news: New phablet to boast advanced features, but pricier?

There are no official details yet coming from Samsung about the much anticipated next iteration of the company's Galaxy Note flagship. The South Korean-based tech giant has pretty much kept the information under wraps, although there is no stopping the Galaxy followers and tech enthusiasts to look for the newest and most reliable source of reports about the Galaxy Note 7. So far, more reports keep on coming about the latest Galaxy Note's specifications, and they have all been very good to hear. However, as much as the tech fans are delighted by the Galaxy Note 7's possible highly sophisticated look, these rumors are also an indication that the Galaxy Note 5's successor will be much pricier compared to the previous Note versions.
The rumored heightened security features of the Galaxy Note 7 via its iris scanning capabilities is one huge hit that the latest Galaxy Note model will not be sold at the same price as its predecessors, more so to become cheaper than the Galaxy Note 5 itself. Yahoo News has revealed the leaked patent for the Galaxy Note model with a built-in iris scan feature, and it looks like the Galaxy Note 2016 version will not be any cheaper.
Furthermore, Sam Mobile reported that the Galaxy Note 7 could be sold for a price as high as €849 in Europe. This price is approximately €50 more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. It is a given that the S7 Edge is from a different line in the S-series and it has a 5.5-inch screen display, a few measurements smaller than the Galaxy Note 7's rumored 5.7-inch display. Still, the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature unique features that are not found on any Galaxy S-series devices, specifically the S-Pen stylus. In this case, the Galaxy Note 7 will be a costly offering from Samsung this year.
