Rumors about Samsung's plan to skip the Galaxy Note 6 and release the Galaxy Note 7 instead have been pretty rampant these days. According to reports, Samsung will launch the new Galaxy Note 7 hybrid phablet in August 2016. Apparently, the South Korean tech company is planning a mass production of the device.

Latest reports from the tech industry involving Samsung suggest that the company will start the production of 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 units next month and plans of doubling the numbers the month after.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 promises to be a powerful device packed with exciting features and advanced specifications. Although the company has yet to provide significant details with regard to its release date and specs, fans are positive that the new phablet will be more advanced compared to its predecessor. Apparently, fans based their assumptions from the reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come out head to head with the all new iPhone 7.

One of its exciting features is the dual-curved edges. The device is said to come out with a whopping 5.8-inch screen, which has Quad HD resolution and a Super AMOLED display technology Samsung is known for.

The new phablet will also arrive with an Irish scanner, in addition to the fingerprint scanner it possesses. The added security feature should be something consumers will consider once they shop for a new tech device.

According to Phone Arena, the new Galaxy Note 7 will run on a Snapdragon 823 processor from Qualcomm and gets a 4000 mAh battery. It is said to have a waterproofing technology, along with a dust-resistant system.

Meanwhile, there are speculations that the device will come in two variants â€“ one variant houses a 64 GB storage capacity, while the other one has 128 GB internal storage.

Many Android fans are hoping that Samsung will provide solid details with regard to the Galaxy Note 7 as they gear up for its upcoming release.
