Samsung Galaxy Note 7 release date, specs news 2016: Device to launch next month in 3 colors?
The reports regarding the arrival of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 have been making rounds on the internet for the past few months. However, Samsung has finally put an end to all speculations as it revealed its plans to talk about the Galaxy Note 7 in its next big event. In fact, according to the latest reports, the South Korean tech giant will officially unbox the new Galaxy Note on Aug. 2, where the attendees will hear the official specs details from the company firsthand. More than a week before its anticipated unveiling, images of the Galaxy Note 7 were leaked online. It is revealed that the phablet may have three color variants.

As reported by Sam Mobile, the leaked photos of Galaxy Note 7 show the phablet coming in blue, gold, and silver. The appearance of the new Galaxy Note is noticeably slimmer and more slick compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 5. Samsung appeared to have added more curves on its edges for both front and back sides. Moreover, the blue and silver variant of Galaxy Note 7 appears to contrast the metal rim of the phone. The blue Galaxy Note is expected to be limited in the market, although there is a chance that there will be enough supply of that variant once the phablet is formally released in August.
As reported by The Verge, Samsung will be having a special event on August 2 in New York City, where it is expected to showcase the new Galaxy Note. The phablet will be dropping the "Galaxy Note 6" tag to be in line with the company's other anticipated devices this year such as the Galaxy S7 smartphone. The rumors have begun spreading on the internet regarding the anticipated next look of Samsung's popular phablet since late last year, and it was only just now that the company will be ready to discuss the official details of the new Galaxy Note. It is not confirmed if there will be other devices which Samsung will also unbox during the event.
Antutu listed the new Galaxy Note to be powered by quad-core Snapdragon 820. There are also two variants of the Galaxy Note 7 expected this year, with the high-end variant listed by Antutu to have 64 GB internal storage, a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash, plus a 5-MP selfie front cam, Time News reported.
