Samsung just recently released their flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Following the release, many fans have shifted their focus on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Although this has yet to be announced by the South Korean tech giant, the device has already become the subject of numerous rumors and speculations. New rumors suggest that the phablet will come with some of the features of the Galaxy S7.

Sammobile recently reported that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will have the flagship smartphone's IP68 rating, which means that the hybrid device will be water-resistant. According to the report, the new device can survive a fall into the water to a depth of up to 1.5 meters and can last up to 30 minutes. Such an impressive feature will certainly captivate the interest of the tech consumers.

The phone also has a dustproof exterior design, which gives users more confidence in bringing the device anywhere. Samsung is definitely taking into a new direction as far as phone safety is concerned, which is one of the factors buyers look into when shopping for a new gadget.

GalaxyClub also reported that the coming device will come with iris scanners as rumors are circulating that the company has ordered many of those to be shipped to their facility in India. However, nothing has been set in stone as of the moment, which is why fans must be wary about these recent rumors.

Meanwhile, in a report by Techradar, the company is said to release the upcoming Galaxy Note 6 in the UK.

"Samsung has no plans to launch a Galaxy S7 Edge+ handset and will instead reinstate the Galaxy Note 6 as the brand's chief phablet in the U.K.," an alleged insider told the news outlet.

Nevertheless, all these rumors must be taken with a grain of salt. It is better to wait until the company releases an official statement before making any assumptions.
