Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date, specs news update: Phablet to arrive with a pre-installed Android N OS?

Following the successful release of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, fans are already excited to know more about the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Despite the company's continued silence regarding the upcoming phablet, it has gained so much attention amongst tech freaks. New reports suggest that Samsung's plan is to release the device this year to compete with Apple's next generation iPhone, which is expected to come out this year.

There have been several speculations suggesting that the phone will arrive sometime this year with impressive specifications and state of the art design. There are also reports saying that the device will come out with the highly anticipated Android N operating system. However, some tech observers contradict the report claiming that the new software might not be ready during the device's expected release date.

According to WCCFTECH, the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will not be available with a pre-installed Android N operating system. Samsung will certainly not gamble on incorporating new software to their upcoming release before it gets properly tested. Unless Google rolls out the full version of the Operating System, the Galaxy Note 6 will definitely not going to arrive with it out of the box.

Meanwhile, in a report by ALPHR, Samsung may launch the Galaxy Note 6 between August and September this year. However, there are also reports suggesting that Samsung could be pushing for a July roll out.

There are also reports saying that the company might call the upcoming handset as Galaxy Note 7 to avoid confusion amongst its fans. It will also be a good marketing strategy as they prepare the next device to compete with the upcoming iPhone 7.

Nonetheless, these reports have yet to be confirmed by the South Korean tech giant. Until the company releases an official statement, all reports should be taken with a grain of salt.
