Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date, rumors: to launch in July with Android N

If the rumors turn out to be true, the launching of Samsung's newest and upcoming Galaxy phablet will not have to wait until this year's IFA in Berlin on Sept. 2-7. According to a report from South Korean-based journal The Bell (via IDigitalTimes), Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be released as early as July, and along with the gadget, the newest Android operating system called Android N will also be launched.
The Korean website also said that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is reportedly given the codename "Grace," and it will also be the first device that will run in Android N upon its launching. This would mean that Google would have to come up with the operating system's final version also by July.
Regarding Samsung Galaxy Note 6's rumored specs, the device is expected to boast an expansive RAM with a total size of 6 GB and 256 GB worth of internal storage, IDigitalTimes also expected that the device will feature the latest Type C USB port.
Although this is one of the soundest rumors there is on the internet today, it couldn't be set in stone as things could still change until Samsung itself announced the official details about Galaxy Note 6. It must be expected though that Samsung will have to exceed the standard set by the previous Galaxy Note 5 release on August last year.
IDigitalTimes also noted that if Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will push through with the plan of having Android N as its OS, this will be the first non-Nexus Android gadget to be packaged with this software. Last year, HTC One A9 was packaged to run in Android 6.0, which became the first device to have the software as its operating system. While this may not mean anything significant with regard to the device's performance, it will be a good way to sell the phone because it is packaged as something unique.
