Even though the Samsung Galaxy A7 is just a rumor at this point with no official announcement yet made by the South Korean company, a multitude of leaks have all but confirmed the phone's existence.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 is an upcoming full metal phablet. But unlike its flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 4 is priced in the midrange.

One of the leaks said the Samsung Galaxy A7 would feature a 64-bit 1.5GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It would have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The display was rumored to be around 5.5 inches providing full HD with 1080x1920 pixels.

The latest leak seems to have elaborated on a previous rumor that Samsung might be bringing out two versions of the phone running on different chipsets.

The latest leak about the Samsung Galaxy A7 provided more information on its specs. The leak originated from Sammobile which over the years has provided reliable information about Samsung's phones. It stated that the company has plans to sell the Galaxy A7 with full HD display in all markets. At the heart of the phone will be an Exynos 5433 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz. It will have an Octa-core CPU with four Cortex-A57 cores working at 1.8 GHz, while the other four Cortex-A53 cores work at 1.3 GHz.

Several websites note that if the latest rumor is true, then Samsung could be ramping up the power on the Samsung Galaxy A7 to ensure that it has the same power as the popular Galaxy Note 4.

If the use of the Exynos 5433 chipset is confirmed, it could mean that when the Samsung Galaxy A7 announces its retail price, it will be slightly higher than other bargain range phones. However, with the multitude of leaks about the Galaxy A7, it looks like the company will not be able to put off an official announcement much longer.
