Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 Release Date Arrives In Taiwan, Europe Likely By January 2015

The Samsung Galaxy A5 has been doing the rounds in many countries, but it is currently making its official debut in Taiwan along with its smaller sized twin, the A3.
As for the rest of Europe, a retailer form the Netherlands says it expects to get both devices and start selling them by next month. GSM Arena says this gradual rollout of the phones indicates that the phone's production is facing delays.
Samsung first rolled out the Galaxy A5 in China. The phone was then launched in Russia. With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Samsung Galaxy A3 in Taiwan, it looks like the company is focusing on building its customer base in Asia and specific areas within Europe.
On the specs of the phones, the higher end Samsung Galaxy A5 features a 5-inch HD super Amoled display which provides 720x1280 pixels. It runs on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system. It is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and is coupled with 2GB of RAM.
Major attention has been paid to its camera which sports a 13-megapixel capacity at its rear and 5 megapixels in front. As for onboard storage it has 16GB which can be expanded up to 64GB using the microSD card slot.
The lower priced Galaxy A3 has a 4.5-inch AMOLED qHD display which provides 540x960 pixels. At its heart is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, and a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at1.2 GHz. This is coupled with 1GB of RAM which is lesser when compared to the 2GB on the A5. As for onboard storage, the phone has 16GB which can be ramped up to 64 GB using the microSD card slot.
The Galaxy A3 has an 8-megapixel camera at its rear and a 5-megapixel at its front. The rear camera also comes with LED flash.
