While performing on the competition dance show "Dancing with the Stars" this past Monday, reality television star Sadie Robertson reasserted her Christian values by saying she will keep her dance moves clean and refrain from "sexy" numbers.

Robertson, who has been performing her way through the competition with dance partner Mark Ballas, said she was nervous for this week's dance, the rumba, due to its inherently sexy nature.

"The rumba is known as the sexy dance, and that is not at all who I am," Robertson said in between dances on the show. "So I just really hope that this week doesn't come off sexy, but it comes off sweet."

According to Deseret News, both Robertson's grandmother and mother had to approve of her dance moves before she could perform them live on television. "I have a lot of Christian values, and I just hope that this dance doesn't change who I am or make it look like I'm anything different than I am."

The 17-year-old reality show star, who stars alongside her family on A&E's "Duck Dynasty," has not been afraid of professing her Christian faith on the dance program.

"My family would not be where we are without our faith. That's what's carried us this whole way," she previously said on the show. "You know, we put our faith in God and we like to share that with everybody."

"We're going to be a family, we're going to love each other and we're going to do what God says to do," the teenager added.
