After a competitive season on the dance show "Dancing with the Stars," reality show star Sadie Robertson won second place during the show's grand finale on Tuesday.

Robertson, 17, finished second place to "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" alum Alfonso Riberio. The teenage reality star expressed gratitude and glory to God in her farewell message to fans and judges.

"It's just been an amazing experience. I just want to say I'm so thankful to God who has brought me this far in this competition," she said when her second place trophy was announced. "I feel like I really accomplished what I wanted to accomplish on this show and I'm so glad it was Alfonso. He deserves it."

Robertson followed up her comments with an Instagram message that read "wow what a journey?!? Just want to say thank you for everything. Y'all got us all the way to the end, and I am more than thankful for that. It's been so cool to be able to share this experience with everything. All glory to God for this crazy experience."

The reality show star and her dance partner, professional dancer Mark Ballas, ended their season on "Dancing with the Stars" by performing a quickstep and samba combination.

Judge Julianne Hough praised Robertson on her composure and grace on stage and off, saying she stays true to herself and her faith.

"You are such a breath of fresh air. […] There's a light you have that just shines so much, and people take that light and it's so infectious," Hough said during Robertson's latest dance adding, "That was brilliant."
