Robin Williams' Daughter Zelda Williams Gives Heartfelt Dedication To Father
The death of famed comedian and actor Robin Williams shocked the world on Monday, and his daughter, Zelda Williams, offered a heartfelt tribute to her famous father on social media.
Zelda, who recently turned 25, dedicated a heartwarming post on Twitter to her late father, who allegedly committed suicide at the age of 63. The quote wrote by Zelda on Twitter is from the 1943 book, The Little Prince.
"You – you alone will have the stars as no one else has them," Zelda wrote on Twitter, quoting the book. "In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night."
Zelda then personally added: "I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up."
Robin and his daughter reportedly had a close relationship, with the two actors starring alongside each other in the 2004 drama "House of D."
Robin referenced his daughter just two weeks ago in an Instagram post ,when he wished her a happy 25th birthday. ""#tbt and Happy Birthday to Ms. Zelda Rae Williams!" Robin wrote, adding a black and white photo of Zelda as a baby. "Quarter of a century old today but always my baby girl. Happy Birthday @zeldawilliams Love you!"
Police found Williams at his home around 11:55 a.m. Monday morning and reported that the famed American actor had reportedly died of asphyxiation. No foul play is involved, and the police have determined the actor's death to be a suicide. Williams starred in well-known American classics that included "Good Will Hunting," "Aladdin," and "Mrs. Doubtfire," among several others.
