'Rizzoli & Isles' season 7 spoilers rumors: New season's pilot airs June 6; Angie Harmon set to direct series' 100th episode
Mark those calendars now because "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 is returning on TNT this month for the last time.

In an interview with Channel Guide Magazine, Angie Harmon, who plays police Detective Jane Rizzoli in the series, confirmed that season 7 will be the show's swan song. However, she also excitedly shared that she will be directing the series' 100th episode.
Harmon has definitely come a long way from sharing lead roles with Sasha Alexander who plays Doctor Maura Isles to being on the director's chair. Still, the actress is excited about her role, even revealing some of the things that fans could expect from the upcoming season.
"Jane has to go undercover in a women's prison, which is something we have never done before," she revealed, adding "I have got a tattoo going up my neck and down my arm and the whole nine yards so I'm excited about that."
She also added, "I'm excited to be in the thick of it, but also to be watching it from the other side of the camera and directing."
When asked what she will miss about her character, she gamely said she would miss everything, including Jane's weird sense of humor.
CarterMatt has revealed the titles of the first two episodes and even shared the synopsis of both. According to the publication, the two-hour premiere episode will be titled "Two Shots: Move Forward," which would focus on the team's struggle to catch Alice Sands (Annabeth Gish), even employing every possible tool at their disposal to finally conclude the cliffhanger of an episode that was season 6's finale.
Episode 2 will be called "Dangerous Curve Ahead," and it will involve a car crash investigation and a blossoming romance.
"Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 will be returning on June 6 at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT Network with a two-hour premiere.
