'Rizzoli & Isles' season 7 spoilers news: Jane and Maura investigate on double murder connected to old ghost story

Jane (Angie Harmon) and Maura (Sasha Alexander) will investigate on a case connected to the supernatural in the upcoming episode of "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7.
Solving the double murder case will not be a walk in the park for the female duo because they must get to the bottom of an old ghost story first. To give fans in idea on what's to come, the official synopsis for episode 6 reads:
"Jane and Maura must unravel an old ghost story in order to solve a double murder at a hospital. Angela convinces Frankie to stop avoiding Kent and accept his invitation to a concert."
The promo trailer shows a mysterious woman walking along the corridor of a hospital. She lets out a loud scream when an unknown individual snatches her from behind. The next moments saw Jane and her teammates, and a woman seems very sure that she knows who is the culprit, saying: "I know who did it you are looking for a ghost." Maura was also seen looking through a broken glass window while the lights turn on and off.
Season 7 marks the show's end, but the finale will surely not be complete without the return of a fan-favorite character. Jane and Frankie Rizzoli's (Jordan Bridges) brother Tommy (Colin Egglesfield) will make one last appearance before the series fades to black, along with his son TJ. Tommy was last seen in the fifth episode when Jane was trying to keep mum about her pregnancy, only to reveal her secret to her brothers later on.
According to Maura's portrayer Sasha Alexander, the show's end right after season 7 did not come as a surprise for her. "The network was going in a different direction," she explained. "We were part of an old regime. There's a new regime looking to do different things. To keep us going was going to be expensive. It's politics. The fact that we even got to seven seasons and get to finish this out is fantastic."
