'Rick and Morty' season 3 release date, news, spoilers: Script already finished; show to premiere anytime soon?

"Rick and Morty" may premiere its third season soon, as the creators recently revealed that the script for the hit sci-fi animated show is already finished.
Series creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland previously stated that season 3 is up for a December premiere, which most fans can consider as a great holiday treat. In an interview with the podcast "Chicks Who Script," writers Erica Rosbe and Sarah Carbiener also confirmed that the show will soon be released. According to the writers, the next season is in its final stages of completion and the material for the upcoming set of episodes has already been sent to Bardel Entertainment. Unfortunately, they weren't able to confirm a definitive timeline in terms of when they can get the script back from the studio. The only thing they can reveal right now is that Bardel Entertainment is set to have a screening.
Aside from "Rick and Morty," creator Harmon is currently working on an upcoming web series for YouTube's subscription channel, YouTube Red. A combination of Harmon's interests: comedy and gaming, the new series follows a "newly formed team of eSports players trying to make it to the top in the cutthroat world of competitive gaming."
On other related news, filmmaker Will Schoder recently posted a fan video exploring the underlying philosophy of "Rick and Morty" and how it creates its own definition of life. In the clip, Schoder argues that there is no existential meaning behind Rick and Morty, and Rick has realized this a long time ago. This may be the reason for his constant desire to get wasted. Rick, however, uses science to create his own meaning. The series has even showcased how he's actually at his happiest when he's having adventures with his grandchildren.
The third season of "Rick and Morty" is expected to premiere in December 2016.
