'Revenge' Season 4 Spoilers: Emily Discovers Her Father Is Alive

A bloody showdown between Victoria Grayson and Amanda Clarke (aka Emily Thorne) looms in the next episodes of "Revenge," now on its fourth season on ABC.

In last week's episode, titled "Ashes," Victoria learnt from Charlotte that Emily Thorne is actually Amanda Clarke, her enemy. Victoria starts to plan her moves against her.

As for Emily she lied about Charlotte trying to kill her, telling the police that no one else was in the bar when the fire started. She is also not aware that David Clarke, her father whom she thought was already dead, has returned but is being kept hidden by Victoria.

David's presence is bound to cause problems for Emily in future episodes as Victoria manipulates him.

In "Ashes," we already saw the beginnings of this when Victoria told David that Charlotte was his daughter. She then lied to him again by saying that Charlotte was the one who helped reveal who Conrad.

At the end of the episode, we saw David sneak into Emily's house with a knife intending to kill her. However, he does not go through with it as he apparently seems to recognize her as his true daughter.

Nolan Ross finds him standing and holding a knife over Emily. He subsequently chases and shoots him, but David manages to escape.

In the fourth episode, titled "Meteor," which will air on Oct. 19, Emily finally realizes her father is alive when he is presented to her as one of the suspects in the foiled attempt to kill her.

The promo clip has her recognizing her father, but he does not see her as he is on the other side of a one-way mirror. Whether or not Emily will end up speaking to him in the episode is not revealed.

E! Online reports that this season of "Revenge" will see a number of deaths. Victoria Grayson, played by Madeleine Stowe, could be one of the characters who will exit the show.
