'Revenge' Season 4 Mid-Season Finale Recap: Emily and Daniel's Funeral

With last month's tragic mid-season finale of 'Revenge' still fresh in viewers' mind, many of them are still aren't over Daniel Grayson's death.

Here's a recap of what happened during the mid-season finale, entitled "Epitaph."

David had to cover up for the death of Agent Kate Taylor, who was the one responsible for the death of Grayson. He managed to convince everyone that Daniel attacked Emily first, forcing the latter to protect herself by shooting Grayson. To be able to to convince people, David got rid of Kate's body to escape the wrath of his father. Everyone believed his story, except Victoria.

Although Victoria did play it cool, she was tired of the lies.

Elsewhere, Jack and Nolan had to visit Kate's hotel to throw out her belongings and anything that associated her to them—for a good reason, of course. Kate's father had been looking for her "missing daughter," and it seemed like he wouldn't stop until he saw Kate alive. Since we all know that Kate was already dead, it looked like the father would try to exact revenge for the murder of his daughter once he found out.

Although Daniel's death was not Emily's fault, lying about the way he died got her uninvited by Victoria on Daniel's funeral. Meanwhile, Malcolm Black happened to kill someone while looking for his daughter.
