'Resident Evil 7' release date, features news 2016: Video game to launch next year

The seventh installment of Capcom's hit survival horror video game franchise "Resident Evil" will be launched next year.
A demo version of "Resident Evil: Biohazard" will also be a freebie for PlayStation 4 Pro buyers.
The official Twitter account of "Resident Evil" recently announced that the game will be supported by the upcoming console. It will have 4K resolution and HDR graphics.
Capcom recently announced that gamers who will pre-order the game will be entitled to in-game bonuses. The game, however, will not consist of microtransactions. Pre-ordering the deluxe edition costs $79.99. However, starting on Thursday, Sept. 15, the deluxe edition will cost $89.99. The package will include two sets of additional content. The first set is composed of four short side stories while the second one features a bonus episode. Pre-orders will contain the "Survival Pack" add-on which will compose of healing items. The pack will also contain a Madhouse mode and a Lucky Coin in-game defense charm.
The game creators released trailers revealing the chilling Baker family. The teaser shows the family gathered at the dining table with graphic gory intestines and other parts on the table.
A "Twilight version" update is slated for release at the Tokyo Game show. The forthcoming update is expected to reveal the dilapidated mansion and the unsolved mysteries of the game.
At the 2016 E3 video game convention, producer Masachika Kawata revealed the details of the forthcoming installment of the franchise. The game will have combat and gunplay. The focus for this installment will be on survival. Unlike the previous games, the game will be from a first-person perspective. The franchise shifted to a third-person perspective in "Resident Evil 4."
"Resident Evil: Biohaazard" will be available on PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox One consoles, and PCs this January 24, 2017.
