'Resident Evil 7' gameplay rumors: Game to bring back classic RE villains?

There have been rumors that Capcom is going to release "Resident Evil 7" in the coming months and the game developer company is grooming it to become a great addition to the ever-growing "Resident Evil" video game saga. Long-time fans have been hoping that Capcom will bring back the horror that made them like the game series for the first time. It is notable that the last "Resident Evil" chapters to tackle the horror genre were "Resident Evil 3: Nemesis."
While Capcom may be heeding the request of the fans to restore the traditional horror in the franchise, NSEAVoice reminded the long-time "Resident Evil" players to not raise their hopes too high just yet that "Resident Evil 7" will feature the same elements of horror like in the first three RE entries. According to the article, Capcom may have promised the fans to raise the bar of suspense in the upcoming installment but it may be the horror that the fans are hoping for, and they should wait for Capcom to release a teaser to confirm their thoughts.
Yibada reported the factors that Capcom are considering to formulate a highly entertaining and thrilling gaming experience for "Resident Evil 7." One of those factors is to bring back the familiar horrific characters from the previous RE video games like William Birkin and the infamous Nemesis from RE 3. They might be featured in secret boss fights throughout the gameplay, that is if Capcom decided to push through with the idea.
"Resident Evil" series producer Masachika Kawata answered some questions during a Q&A forum for the 600th Dengeki PlayStation issue as reported by Siliconera. Kawata responded to one participant's inquiry asked "Resident Evil" by saying that Capcom is not it the right state in the meantime to share information but also told everyone to stay tuned. He also addressed some fans' comment about the RE series losing "horror."
"Since there's been more spinoff titles, I can see how it can be perceived in such a way. And of course I believe that we should produce titles that bring out the horror. I'm thinking about it and also preparing for it," he said.
