'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' release date, update: New trailers reveal gameplay features

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" may seem like it's still far away but it's actually just a few months left until fans will be able to get hold of the new game.
According to reports, not much is known about the title yet but developer Capcom did release a couple of teasers featuring some of the things that gamers can expect. The first one showed gameplay featuring an item box with a shotgun inside it. It then showed the inventory system.
A second trailer was then released and it explained the essence of saving in the new "Resident Evil," as players get a call from a creepy mysterious person. Capcom decided to add teasers by releasing a third trailer and this time it showed the protagonist saving progress through a tape recorder. It also gave players a sneak peek at the save interface on the PlayStation 4.
The last trailer that Capcom released is titled "Stock Up" and it showed how gamers can make use of the knife to open up crates and taped panels. It also teased the appearance of the handgun ammo. It then revealed that the knife would be very helpful in all kinds of situations.
PlayStation Lifestyle detailed that there are actually still six more teaser trailers that are going to be coming out. Everything should be released before the launch date of the title. Fans will have to stay tuned for more teasers.
In terms of the gameplay, reports said that "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will follow the story of a man named Ethan who is on a quest to look for his wife. The two got into an accident and when Ethan woke up, his wife was nowhere to be found. What makes the protagonist unique among all the previous ones from the old titles is that he has no combat or fighting skills. He will be just an ordinary man who will stumble upon the derelict Baker Mansion.
"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will be released on Jan. 24, 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
