'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' release date and rumored features: $179.99 Collector's Edition to come with a small haunted house

As next year's horror survival entry "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is almost imminently to be released months from now, Capcom is now ensuring that the series' merchandise lives for long, even if it is inside a tiny, haunted mansion.
Japanese video game publisher and developer Capcom has revealed that "Resident Evil 7's" Collector's Edition will come with its very own residence. The company has introduced a pricey $179.99 deluxe edition, and this will include an eight-inch replica of the entry's creepy Louisiana plantation mansion. Meanwhile, the mansion will reportedly double as a music box — an eerie one at that, too.
Accordingly, the music box is adorned with its own LEDs and speakers, if that is not creepy enough.
The Collector's Edition will be available for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game. It will also include a 4GB USB drive that is evidently shaped from the game's mysterious dummy finger (a chopped finger that could also double for pranking) along with an exclusive Steelbook metal case, a grim-looking, positively-harmful VHS tape box, a lithograph featuring the nefarious "Baker" family and the staple "creepy note" — all of these in addition to the copy of the game and the strange music box-slash-mansion. A complete look of the inclusions for this edition can be found via this link.
While the wallet-draining $180 is definitely not aimed for the financially-strapped, its perks are of course perfectly culminated for the game's legitimate enthusiasts. On the other hand, the good thing is there is still a lot of alternative editions for the budget-conscious consumers.
"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is slated to hit the shelves for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Jan. 24, 2017.
