"Resident Evil 6" has been recently launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles by Capcom, the company behind the successful action-adventure zombie shooter video game. The release of the game to newer gaming platforms is part of the company's marketing of the "Resident Evil" video game franchise. Fans of the hit video game can expect all of the featured maps and content packs from the original PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions while playing "Resident Evil 6" on PS4 and Xbox One. Some of these features include Siege Mode, Predator Mode, Survivor Mode and Onslaught Mode, as well as the additional maps for The Mercenaries scenario.

Aside from the original features of "Resident Evil 6" on PS3 and Xbox 360 where the game was first launched, those players who are using PS4 and Xbox One can expect a new feature included in the package which was only available in the game's PC version at first. As reported by the WCCFTech website, the game feature called "No Mercy" mode will have large battalions of enemy units going after the player characters and as time passes by, the number of enemies will only increase thus making it very difficult for the players to kill the enemy units or even escape from the growing number of adversaries.

Aside from the good news for PS4 and Xbox One users, Capcom also revealed that "Resident Evil 6" has already been designed to run at an improved 1080p graphics resolution and frame rate of up to 60 fps. GearNuke reported that the changes made in the game are expected to match the visual fidelity of the PC version, with the game's field of view also enhanced and optimized. The details of the "Resident Evil 6" gaming experience was shared by the company before the release of the video game on latest consoles.

"Resident Evil 6" was first released in October 2012 for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and the PC version of the game was launched in March 2013. It features seven new playable characters named Leon S. Kennedy, Helena Harper, Chris Redfield, Piers Nivans, Sherry Birkin, Jake Muller and Ada Wong, with the story revolving around the new deadly C-Virus spreading across the world. The game is divided into four scenarios that players can choose from.
