'Reign' season 4 spoilers: 'Van Helsing' star Will Kemp on board as one of the Queen's suitors, Torrance Coombs not closing doors on a possible return

The third season of "Reign" may still be a few days away from the finale, but it's never too early to talk about what the future holds for Mary, the Queen of Scots along with the rest of her friends and enemies.
After losing her first husband Francis and a brief romance with the French Court's English Ambassador Gideon, Mary will have a lot of suitors vying for her heart in season 4. One of the noble men has actually been cast, and the character will be portrayed by British actor Will Kemp, Deadline reports.
Kemp will play the role of Mary's cousin named Lord Darnley, who is based on the person of the same name in the history books who went on to become Mary's second spouse. Kemp is set to appear in three episodes only, but he has the option to extend his stay as a series regular. In the upcoming season, Danley is characterized as "breezily confident, charming and warm." He also has a blood claim to the English throne, and his mother's love for him solely relies on his ability to secure the crown.
On another note, Torrance Coombs who portrays Bash in the show recently moved to another period drama produced by Shonda Rhimes titled "Still Star-Crossed." The actor will no longer be a regular in season 4, but he expressed his interest in going back sometime in the future. "It's very strange. You know, they are all wonderful friends of mine... It's really weird to not be going back and then to see the behind the scenes pictures and I'm not there," Coombs spoke to Showbiz Junkies. "I'm hoping that I get to go back and do a little bit more this season. But, that's to be determined I guess."
The CW has yet to announce an official premiere date for "Reign" season 4.
