'Reign' season 4 spoilers news: New suitors will try to win Mary's heart in Scotland

The season 3 finale of The CW's historical period drama "Reign" is just around the corner, and to no one's surprise, there are already talks on what happens next for the hit TV series.
According to latest updates about the show, new faces await Mary as she comes back to her Scotland home. First is the character of Lord Darnley, a person who apparently has a "blood-claim to the English throne." He will be accompanied by a "wildly ambitious mother whose love hinges entirely on his ability to secure a crown," just like the great Francis. His plan is to capture Mary's heart, and he hopes that their wedding "could take down Elizabeth, giving [the couple] not just one nation, but two."
Bothwell is one of Mary's suitors too, and he is simply described as a "warm-hearted bad boy" who has strong romantic feelings for the Queen. joining the line-up for new characters is Henry, Charles' younger brother. The role was portrayed by Jackson Hodge-Carter, but he had to be recast because the character has already matured. He will be around 18-21 years old next season, and he is "sexy, clever and ambitious." Lastly, Narcisse's son Gabriel will be introduced, and will try to marry Princess Claude even if she loves someone else.
The official synopsis for next week's episode 14 titled "To the Death" reads:
"Mary must defend her throne - Mary (Adelaide Kane) realizes her need to return to Scotland is becoming increasingly imminent and that along with the help of Bash (Torrance Coombs), she must raise her own army to save her throne. Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten) enlists Lola's (Anna Popplewell) help to find out information about her mother, which backfires when Lola gets caught."
