'Red Dead Redemption 2' release date rumors: Game to land at E3 event 2016?

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is one of the most anticipated games in the industry today, and rumors of its upcoming release have been the subject of a huge amount of posts on online forums.
However, new reports have surfaced that Rockstar Games, "Red Dead Redemption's" developer and publisher, may finally launch the next installment of the franchise at the coming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3.
During his interview with MCVUK, Take Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed the company's upcoming projects for this year. Take Two Interactive is the mother company of Rockstar Games, which developed the original "Red Dead Redemption." Although Zelnick did not specifically mention the details about the rumored development of the "Red Dead Redemption 2," he did have some interesting statements when prompted about "Red Dead" by teasing fans.
"We will be there in a big way," the CEO said.
The company might be planning to surprise their followers with a big revelation at E3. People have reason to believe that Zelnick was actually talking about the launch of "Red Dead Redemption 2."
The original "Red Dead Redemption" came out in 2010 and some fans are saying they believe that "Red Dead Redemption 2" should have already been released a couple of years after the original. Nevertheless, fans are still hopeful that Rockstar Games will make it happen in the near future.
It was already confirmed by Zelnick in a report by Gamespot that "Red Dead Redemption": "I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent. It's obvious that GTA is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that Red Dead is a permanent franchise."
Still, it is important for fans to take these reports with a pinch of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet at this point.
