'Red Dead Redemption 2' release date, plot rumors: To be announced during E3 2016?

"Red Dead Redemption 2" has been one of the most talked about upcoming video games for quite a long time. The rumor has started many years ago and although the company has not given any significant information regarding the said game, it remains to be a subject of numerous speculations all over the internet. New reports have emerged suggesting that the company is on the verge of announcing the title.

According to the latest report by Frag Hero, game publisher, Rockstar Games is planning to reveal the sequel at the yearly Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 in June. There are also speculations that the company will soon release a sneak peak of the title, which will certainly come out big for its millions of fans.

Flag Hero claimed that their source, a former Rockstar Games employee, said that the company has been working on the game for over four years now. The source added that the next installment will be titled "Legends of the West" or simply "Red Dead Redemption 2." Although this latest report has yet to be verified by the gaming company, many fans believe that there is weight to the latest rumor.

If Rockstar Games will reveal the existence of the game at the upcoming E3 event, fans can expect a holiday release of the next installment. It might also be possible that the roll out will happen early next year.

Meanwhile, Parent Herald also reported that the company is actually working on a prequel to the current title. It is said that the prequel will take players 12 years before the current setting of "Red Dead Redemption." This information has not been confirmed as well.

It has been more than five years since the original "Red Dead Redemption" was released and fans could no longer wait for the sequel. However, as of the moment, all they got are merely rumors and speculations. These players are hoping that the company will soon make an announcement whether the game will ever be developed or not.
