'Red Dead Redemption 2' release date, gameplay update: Title may come out in 2017?

When the original "Red Dead Redemption" was launched in 2010, rumors and speculations about a sequel have started right away. There have been contradicting reports regarding the release date and gameplay of the next title; however, game developer, Rockstar Games, refused to provide any information about it. With new rumors circulating all over the internet that "Red Dead Redemption 2" might be unveiled by the company at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016, fans are preparing for another disappointing no show.
According to reports, Rockstar Games has no intention of launching the sequel of the open world, western action-adventure video game at E3. There are reports suggesting that the company currently has its focus on "GTA Online," which has been a huge success since it came out.
News Every Day reported that the rumor of a "Red Dead Redemption 2" reveal at E3 2016 has slowly withered down as fans are starting to lose their interest about the upcoming game. However, there are new speculations emerging that a 2017 launching might be possible for "Red Dead Redemption 2."
Meanwhile, it has been speculated that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be titled as "Legend of the West." Rumor has it that the upcoming game will feature a much larger map compared to its last installment. If rumors prove to be true, players will be able to enjoy cowboy gun battles in various locations of North America and Mexico.
There are also reports suggesting that the second installment might have a gameplay similar to that of "GTA 5." There are also rumors stating that game characters may include special skills in their arsenals. According to some video game freaks, the upcoming title might also have an online version, similar to what the company has done with "GTA."
